Our philosophy at the Waverly Cafe is pretty simple -- to take care of our customers -- they are always our #1 priority.

Did you know . . .
Waverly was founded in 1837 by Stephen G. Pavatt who chose to name the town Waverly because of his great fondness for the Waverley Novels by Sir Walter Scott. A famous Scottish writer who lived from 1771 - 1832, Scott was responsible for other such notable works as: Ivanhoe, Rob Roy, The Lay of the Last Minstrel, Marmion and Lady of the Lake. He lived with his family & his beloved dogs at his large estate, Abbotsford, located on the scenic River Tweed in the Scottish Borders. As a tribute to this part of Waverly's history, you can see the Scottish thistle located on the cup of the Waverly Cafe logo.
